It looks like where there is no reset of the counter when the button is pressed a second and subsequent times.
Please see the possible fix and the alternative solution in attachment.

Hi to everyone, I am working on a latch and an unlatch logic, the purpose of this logic is to use one signal input ( reference to ground) ( in this case channel 6) wait for 2 second then output a signal( in this case Red LED), once it is on, the unlatch timer turn on, after 5 second, it is off.

Question 1 - Input inconsistency , once in a while , the red led will turn on without the correct timing.
