1) Automatic shifter into can messages to transfer to an aftermarket ECU

I have a shifter that will be able to send 7 discretes to the CANNY.  I want to be able to output can messages on a 500kbps bus to my ECU.  Can messages output can be anything.   

2) Aftermarket ECU sends a CAN BUS message to the canny to trigger a relay.  I need to control a parking actuator and reverse lights on 2 separate relays. 

Are there any examples that can point me in the right direction?
