The controller's firmware implements access to CAN at a data link layer. The CANopen protocol is a high-level protocol built on top of CAN. Thus, you can use the controller to interact in CANopen networks to the extent that you can implement CANopen protocol support in your CFD-diagram yourself.

PS: There is no "canny7 duo" in our portfolio. Please name devices correctly next time.
