thanks for the help Konstantin, im getting more dangerious with this thing!!

is there a cleaner/more clever way to do a 1st order lag filter? My ADC is pretty noisy on a clean power supply?

i tried different division but ran into issues >2...

This thing is soo cool now that i finally have a purpose for my project smile thank you guys!!

It is sad, but yes, the ADC on early HW version of CANNY 7.2 Duo is pretty noisy. It's mostly fixed on current HW version. Hope, it's will be not a problem in your case.

Please see the implementation of some filters in the attached diagram.

Your filter is pretty cool though.

ill have to give this a try! i havnt explored the composite blocks yet this is really cool, would this consume about the same amount of resource?

thanks for the kind words on my filter i think itll serve my purpose just reading a 0-5v sensor i havnt had a chance to try in vehicle yet.

You are welcome!
The simple composite block is zero-cost. The cost of a composite block with a control pin is equal to adding one more simple comparison block to the diagram.
